Coach

So a couple of weeks ago Ashley and I went to St. Louis to see Legally Blonde the Musical for my b-day. OMG, super good! We heard about a fleamarket that sold Coach and other designer handbags for cheap. We decided to go to the flea market and get some purses. We were warned that this place was intimidating but we were determined to get our cheap Coach bags. So Ashley mapquested this place and we set off. We got off the interstate and started making our way to the middle of the slums. We were freaked out to say the least. I was sure we were the only living white girls within a 20 mile radius. Ashley was trying to make the best of it and said "Look, that guy is carrying a book. That means he's ok, right?" Then we get on MLK blvd. and Ashley asks for a paper bag because she's gonna hyperventilate. (I love you Bubbie.) We were wrestling with the idea of just turning around but we had come too far to just back out. Finally, we get to the flea market and drive around in the packed parking lot. We see a police officer and a couple other white people. I don't know why but this gave us the courage to get out of the car and go inside. We made our way inside and WOW, purse heaven. We ran around checking out all the different booths. We finally decided on the Coach bags that we wanted and got the heck out of there. We only paid $30 - $35 per bag. That's an awesome deal. We may have lost a couple hours off our lives because of the stress level we were in during this excursion, but it was worth it! By the way, I am in no way shape or form a racist. We were just a couple of girls out of our element. You would have been scared too. But hey, check out my Coach bag.

RELAY FOR LIFE

THIS IS WHY WE FIGHT!
April 29 will be our 3rd year to Relay for Life. Our family started doing this to honor my Grandma Joan. She lost her battle with cancer in 2006. She was such a wonderful, loving, caring, special, talented woman and I am proud to walk and raise money in her name.

This year I my personal goal is to raise $1000. I will have a Pampered Chef party as a fundraiser. Grandma Joan used to sell these products and I remember going to parties with her when I was younger so I thought this would be fitting. Also, we will be selling her cookbooks again this year. They were a hit the first year and we have decided to print more. I will have a link to my Relay page soon so if you just want to make a donation to the American Cancer Society you can. If you have any other fundraising ideas please let us know. I have a big goal to meet this year with our fragile economy but I know that I have tons of great friends that will help our team make it our best year yet.
Thank you all for your support.
